One of the pioneering women in South American History, Violeta Parra broke countless stereotypes for women.  She traveled around Chile, recording folk music to share with the rest of the world. She adventured to Europe to represent Chilean culture by singing in various countries and even showing her embroidery at the Louvre Museum.  She is one of the most powerful artists of the 20th century, earning a spot on our Herstory Line. We hope she inspires you and your little ones, the same way she inspires us everyday.
